I'm conducting some research into NOCs. While I have a high level view of what the role of a NOC is from my ODD day job, I lack some of the next level of detail around roles, scope, responsibilities and how this varies by operator. Some folks have small networks and their needs are less and some folks have big networks and their needs are larger. If you can tell us what you have in your network we could help more. The main thing is if you get someone to do it for you and your staff is not NOC and tools oriented, you want to get tools that're well documented online and easier to use and troubleshoot via online resources. scott
