Dear colleagues

UKNOF36 takes place in just 4 weeks on Thursday 19 January at etc venues 155
Bishopsgate in London. I wanted to give you some information before we head off
in to the Christmas and New Year break.

The day will start at 9am with registration and an ‘Energiser Breakfast’, and
the session itself will run from 10am until 6pm. There will be a couple of
coffee breaks and lunch during the course of the day. We are also continuing
with our Pints n’ Packets Networking event immediately after UKNOF36 finishes,
which is due to last until 8/8.30pm.

Registrations are going extremely well - with just under 200 registered
delegates (approx 30% first time attendees) so far!

The agenda will nearly finalised and a “working version” has already been
published. So far the topics include talks and a panel session on IPv6 (such as
best practices), building and evolution of networks, and operational matters
such as load balancing and OSS. More will be revealed in January:

     http://uknof.uk/agenda36

Please note that although we webcast and record the presentations, we do
sometimes receive requests not to record or webcast a particular presentation.
If you are interested in all the presentations at UKNOF36, then please attend
in person.

If any of your colleagues/customers would be interested in attending UKNOF36,
please pass this email on to them.

[[ MEETING REGISTRATION DEADLINES ]] - Wednesday 4 January
=
To help us with meeting logistics, please ask your colleagues/customers to
register for the meeting as soon as possible.

Early Bird (Free) Registrations are open until 11.59pm GMT on 4 January (two
weeks before the meeting) at:

  http://uknof.uk/register36

Standard registrations (for those who wish to contribute toward the running of
UKNOF by paying for their registration) and all registrations after the Early
Bird period are on a paid basis at a cost of:

£127.19 (£100 + VAT + Eventbrite fee) for non-Patrons, and
£63.89 (£50 + VAT + Eventbrite fee) for Patrons via discount code.

Note that although you have registered, if you would like to pay for your
registration, you may do so via the Standard Registration link on the
Registration page at the link above. We will internally match your details so
you do not end up with duplicate registrations.

Registrations are non-transferrable (except between delegates from Patron
organisations and Advisory Committee organisations)

[[ ACCOMMODATION BOOKING ]]
=
We were unable to secure negotiated room rates for UKNOF36 delegates this time
around - the reason given was that the past couple of years had not seen enough
pickup when we have been in London.

However, the venue has given us a link showing the various hotels around the
area, and you may use this to book via the link or as a guideline to book
directly with the hotel of your choice (the rates seem to be the standard rates
for the hotels).

     https://www.hotelmap.com/map/pro/M87XJ

As always, it would be prudent to book early.
