Dear Colleagues

UKNOF37 takes place in a couple of days on Thursday 20 April (09:00 BST - 18:00
GMT, followed by drinks 18:00 - 20:00) at Manchester Central Convention
Complex. Here’s a few final pieces of information.

The meeting agenda is jam packed full to the brim with operational and
technical nourishment! The day will be interspersed with a PGP-Keysigning
session (pending a volunteer coming forward to run this) during lunch, the
opportunity to pick up your RIPE Atlas probe, long breaks and Pints n’ Packets
for networking with industry colleagues.

Full agenda and slides are here:

     http://uknof.uk/agenda37

The registration desk for delegate badge collection opens at 9am on the 20th
with a light breakfast of pastries and fruit being served to prep yourselves
for the day ahead. The main session begins at 10am and runs until approximately
6pm, including a couple of coffee breaks of 30 minutes each and a lunch break
lasting 1h and 15m where we provide you with a hot and cold buffet lunch
prepared by the venue’s chef.

We are aware of those who indicated allergies, intolerances and other dietary
preferences and have incorporated much of this in the lunch. For any questions
or concerns, please contact Denesh by email in advance of the meeting.

Once the session ends at approximately 6pm, we will be holding UKNOF’s
Networking Event - Pints n’ Packets, with drinks, canapés and artisan snacks -
a couple of hours to have an informal chat with your industry colleagues and
friends and have the opportunity to see demos by our Exhibitor sponsor.

*Note*: Attendance at Pints n’ Packets requires you to be a registered delegate
at the meeting. Venue security requires you to wear a delegate badge at all
times.

Although Early Bird registrations have ended, if you and/or any of your
colleagues are interested in attending, we still have room for more attendees
on a paying basis (£127.19 inc VAT and Eventbrite fee for non-Patrons and
£64.19 inc VAT and Eventbrite fee for Patrons via a discount code), in advance
or at the door via:

     http://uknof.uk/register37

Note: Registrations are non-transferrable (except between delegates from Patron
organisations and Advisory Committee organisations)

As usual, we will be webcasting the event, at:

http://uknof.bogons.net/uknof37.html (link will be activated on Thursday)

You can also participate remotely via IRC: #[email protected]

[[ FIRST TIME ATTENDEES ]]

We are pleased to see a number of first time attendees attend each subsequent
UKNOF meeting. UKNOF37 is no different with approximately 30% first time
attendees registered to attend. We understand how daunting it can be to attend
a meeting for the first time, especially if you are new to the industry. As
such, Debbie Casey, from our Meeting Committee, will be manning the ‘First Time
Attendee’ section of the registration desk and will be on hand to welcome and
provide any guidance required. In addition, First Time Attendees may approach
any of the UKNOF crew (wearing RED coloured lanyards) regarding any questions
they may have.

UKNOF meetings are relaxed and fairly informal, and we are certain that those
who have attended UKNOF in the past will assist the first time attendees with
settling in.

[[ UKNOF CREW ]]

The UKNOF crew consists of those who are involved with organising the main
aspects of the meeting - The Programme Committee and The Meeting Committee. You
will be able to recognise the crew by the RED coloured lanyards they will be
sporting during the day.
