As mentioned the crc could also be due to duplex negotiation failure. BT have told us their side is set to auto, and the interface doesn't come up if we hardcode the speed. I feel like speed 100 and duplex auto is worth a shot in spite of what they say. If it doesn't work, the circuit is down anyway so you haven't lost anything. Maria
