Daniel,

These guys at INCA have real clue from business / implementation
perspective.
The events are not free but not expensive either.

UK network operators UKNOF have a list you can join.
UKNOF mail lists <[email protected]>
You can ask questions on the list but not promote your business.

and they run 3 tech orientated "clue giving" events annually. The next
one is in manchester - check the website. These now cost as they are
finding it harder to get community sponsorship. Something we as a
chapter are keeping a friendly eye on.

I gather you had a call this morning. Olivier sent me a link to the
recording which I'll try to get round to later. But if you have any
immediate questions ask away.

best
Christian

Dear Christian

Next up in the 'Trends' strand of our events programme we are in
Basingstoke next Wednesday (April 10) with ECI Telecom hosting a day of
looking into the future of telecommunications services.

Then a week later we're in Cardiff for Fibre To the New Home (FttNH), a
half-day session looking at the issues around new-build housing
developments and fibre connectivity. This is shaping up to be a
fascinating and important discussion. More details below and online

Places at both of these events are going fast.

After that we move into a series of six Rural Gigabit Future

awards dinner on October 16/17 in Manchester.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to an INCA event soon.

Network Trends for the Independent Network

/*Basingstoke, *//*April 10, 9.30am - 4.00pm
Pricing: just £65 + VAT per person, including lunch*/

Over the next decade we will see a shift in telecommunications services.
Independent Network Operators (INOs) are in a key position to play a
fundamental role in supporting this new service paradigm.

The Government has stated its aim to achieve 100% FTTP coverage of the
UK by 2033 (50% by 2025) and it is expected that many more INOs and
builders will spring up to fill this gap.

Existing players will expand and new players will emerge, including a
growing number of local authorities looking to invest and take control
of fibre assets in their region for the benefit of their citizens.

Ranging across 5G, modernisation of utility and transport networks, to
smart cities, business services such as SD-WAN, and the impact of cheap
widely available gigabit connectivity, this seminar looks at the new
service paradigm that is emerging and how we can make best use of the
opportunities that it presents.

A valuable event for local authorities, equipment vendors, service and
solutions providers and consultants, as well as network operators.

The agenda includes speakers from Hampshire County Council, SetSquared,
Telint, BluWireless, Esri UK, Skyline, ECI Telecom, Flomatik, Zeetta,
NetAdmin, KCOM, and Hampshire Broadband.

Fibre to the New Home (FttNH)

/*Principality Stadium, Cardiff, April 17 1.30pm - 5.00pm*/
/*£65 + VAT per person*/

What are the impacts of full fibre connectivity on the housing market?
How can we improve the availability of full fibre connectivity in new
housing developments? Is the house-building industry sufficiently aware
of the independent network sector and the choices now available to them
in terms of infrastructure? Is the independent network sector doing all
it can to provide housebuilders, planners and architects with the
information they need in order to make good decisions about
incorporating state of the art digital infrastructure into new developments?

This important seminar brings together network builders, operators, and
equipment vendors with house builders, town planners, architects and
estate agents to understand what's working well, and identify where we
need to do more to deliver better value to house buyers.
