I’m not sure how many Crypto Enthusiasts are on here, but if anyone has any
feedback on how well it might suit the Miner community I’d be grateful. We’re
planning a new
power-charge-only service for the BitCoiner community with no hosting fees and
100Mbit IPv4/IPv6 transit for £140/Kw/month. Power is unprotected but has an
99.999% SLA
(zero setup, monthly rolling commitment. Tier-3 centre etc. etc.

Do you accept bitcoins for payment? Turning the money from bitcoin into
something you can use to pay your electricity bill may be quite difficult
and bitcoin<->fiat money exchanges go bankrupt or have all their
bitcoins stolen surprisingly frequently.

I'd strongly recommend you only accept payment in real money and in
advance. Also get really good fire supressant, people who believe in
magical money trees occasionally shortcut on safety.

My friend David Gerard wrote a surprisingly good book about Bitcoin.

tl:dr; a currency so rubbish not even drug dealers will use it.

I do not hold any crypto-currencies, although I do own a hosting company
that used to accept bitcoins (VMHaus) but stopped because crooks make
crap customers and the transaction fees are nuts. My local pub was also famous for being one of the first to accept bitcoin but they stopped because it sucks.

Edit: Two hosting companies, Bhost also used to accept Bitcoin but
stopped because it's bonkers and crooks make terrible customers.
