I don't know whether to be scared or hopeful ;-) Way way back when Virgin Media were still expanding cable coverage, they leafletted every house in the village telling everybody how great cable TV and internet was, but I knew they hadn't even laid a single metre of network into the village. I rang them up and ordered the bumper package of everything, every movie channel, sports channel, with premium internet, everything possible, so a big monthly fee. The sales agent was really excited to be getting such an enthusiastic and wealthy customer. And then he discovered there was no coverage and not even a plan to roll out service - they'd distributed the leaflets by mistake. I played it all innocent, that I was so disappointed :-)
