There's occasionally been discussion on this list about the best devices for ADSL or FTTC service, which ones get the best line sync or have the best overall speed.
I've just changed my backup ADSL provider, and have thus been sent yet another CPE (modem/router/wifi-AP). In theory, the old provider can ask for them back, but they never do. Is there someone lurking on the list who has a lab and tests and compares different CPEs for compatibility and performance? If so, I'm happy to send a bunch of them over (with matching PSUs, and with the admin username/passwords so they can be reconfigured). thanks Paul
