It's not as good as it sounds; from the partner documentation:

- existing ASA/ASAv users without AnyConnect can activate a trial license
for 90 days (needs to be done through a Cisco partner; tedious)
- existing AnyConnect users can add additional clients without an
additional license file (no documentation on how this is achieved)
- people without existing Cisco firewalls or with no capacity can get a
significant discount off the ASAv30 license (but only this level, so only
suitable for large companies).
