Dear colleagues

We would like to thank everyone - participants, speakers, patrons, partners,
the UKNOF crew - who helped make it a great success. The UKNOF crew were joined
by Holly Ruff and Mo Shivji - both from LINX - and Brandon Butterworth from
Bogons who helped with the rehearsals and running of the show in the background.

=====

[ HOW ]

The 90 minutes programme was put together by the UKNOF PC. There was a smaller
meeting crew this time around who rehearsed and ran the show as there was no
registration desk, or the need to set up a network and AV, nor was there a need
for multiple session chairs or mic runners.

Brandon (Bogons) and I were the Webinar hosts & admins, Keith and Chris were
the meeting Chairs, Holly and Mo were the Q&A monitors, while Holly also
managed the virtual timecards. Chris, Steve Jones & I jointly managed the
social media, and Chris also kept an eye on the IRC channel.

We received close to 100 registrations on the day itself! Although the webinar
access links were sent out in the morning, the constant incoming registrations
during the remainder of the morning and during the webinar kept us on our toes
as we had to manually process the access links to send out!

Fearghas helped with the rehearsals and Cathy ran a Green Room during
rehearsals and on the meeting day itself for the crew and speakers to convene
from an hour before the start of the meeting.

This was certainly was a whole new experience for us. We always run a
backchannel for meeting ops and this was no different in that respect. It was
just different in the way we had to do everything remotely. We have learned
from it and have made our notes on what we can do differently or better in the
future… but this is also where you come in.. see the next section below.
