Thanks for everyone's replies on and off the list.. General consensus seems to
be watch out for BGP, be careful with them at the edge and work within their
means. I've been a happy mikrotik user for some time in my overly elaborate
home network. It becomes a different issue when customers are paying reasonable
money for a service tough. Good to know there are a few operators out there
with successful deployments as long as you're careful.

Thanks

Chris

    Hi All

I'm looking at adding L2 ethernet into our connectivity portfolio and need
a cost effective router to terminate the NNI/Vlans from the carrier. Thinking
about one of the CCR devices from Mikrotik anybody any real horror stories?

    Thanks
