well test both ends anyway but testing with a loop is best practice
anyway to spot issues at the fibre end)
I too wondered about this, especially as they sell this by the strand -
so there is no guarantee that you've had a pair provisioned (unless they
always put more than you've ordered in, just in case of failure or
upgrade requests).
