Having spent the day ripping out any leftover equipment that was in
their soon-to-be-refitted newly-purchased building - there were no
wayleaves, covenants, or any other rights for any third parties - the
network manager at a client of ours emerged to find half a dozen
OpenReach vans parked on the road outside.
Even though OpenReach had been served notice by the former owners of the
building, and I believe had written back to confirm there were no live
assets left in there, they had continued to use the comms room as a PCP
for a local village.
Yellow lights flashing everywhere. It was a DR team. OpenReach
certainly do notice.
