I filled in the contact form on their website, but also emailed
[email protected], got replies from both independently.
The emailed one came back in just over 2hrs on a Saturday lunchtime,
contact form took a few days and then claimed not to be able to open the
photo I had uploaded to the form as it "wasn't attached to the email I
received".
Contact form response was vague and just repeated FAQ advice with a bit of
interpretation (understandable as they hadn't seen a picture of the actual
kit).
The email was super helpful, definitively stated that the pictured crimping
tool was OK, and why, but also suggested getting a custom's carnet and gave
further info on that. Possibly the best response I've ever had from any
enquiry to any travel company!

I think they used to do checked baggage all the time, then stopped, and now
have reintroduced it on certain trains only according to info someone else
has posted.
