I have read before that BT really do not like sharing ducts. It sounds to me like the freeholder has done some kind of deal and BT are to be the provider of choice. Judging by the endless nightmare stories coming out these days it seems the whole area of leasehold appears to have turned into the wild west over the last 10 years, where people can’t do the smallest things without permission and when they can it’s ££££. I would check the terms of your lease. -Paul-
