Hi, For Openreach kit (mostly random adva's) I usually reach out to a contact I have from the local exchange and he kindly collects it all for me. I'm in Milton Keynes though, so my contact would be no good. However, if you have a contact for a recent survey planner perhaps or engineer, that might be the best person to reach out to. There's no reason they can't just swing by and take it to their local exchange.
As for Virgin Media, I've tried to no avail with them and have ended up just WEEE'ing stuff.
