Hi
Peter,
The
palette shows up only if ULC Libraries class path container is in the path of
your project (using Add Library..).
You
could add your widgets to the existing palette ulcbeanscats.xmi under
"\eclipse\plugins\com.canoo.ulc.visualeditor_5.0.1\palette" directory. Note that
plugin version number in directory name in your case could be 5.0 or whichever
version you are using.
I am
not sure if you can add your jar files to the ULC Libraries container.
(I
will try this and let you know. Perhaps we should find a way to make the
container editable if possible so that other jars can be
added)
You
can add your jar file to the Java Build Path using Add External Jar or Add
Jar.
Just
try this and let me know if it worked.
Thanks
and regards,
Janak

Subject: [ULC-developer] Extending Visual Editor 5.0hi,
I'm trying to extend ULC VE (adding custom widgets to the palette,
custom cell editor, ...). I had no problem following the general tutorial
"extending the visual editor tutorial" to extend the "normal" visual editor.
now I'm trying to extend the ULC VE.
is it really necessary to create and register a "classpath container" ?
isn't it sufficent to just add the right jar-archive to the build path
in the project ? my modified palette is not showing... :-))
thanks & best regards,
peter
