You say that you refactored the class. In what way did you change the generated code? VE recognizes fixed code patterns, changing the generated code by hand to a pattern not recognized by VE may cause some problem. Also, you can try one thing - close the project, open it, do a clean build (clean compilation) and then open the class. Many a times VE reads the saved class from its cache and if the cache was corrupted while saving there may be errors while reopening. One thing you should remember is to do a "refresh" before saving and closing as recommended under "Known Issues" in the release notes. I hope this helps.
