Thanks Etienne, I went forward on using the lookup textfield. It was a nice exercise for learning how to write ULC extensions. I made a lot of progress. I found the migration notes in the 6.1 release notes to be very helpful. Of course, once I costed out how long it would take to finish, the priority was lowered on that task. I'll probably come back to it in a few weeks.
