Hi Brian,

Well you can run the sample apps in tomcat that is bundled along with the ULC release. just go to the "sample" and dbl-clk on startServer.bat to start tomcat and startClient.html to bring the page that enables you to run sample apps. Note: You may have to set JAVA_HOME.

Moreover, you can import the sources of these applications in you IDE, put ulc-base-development.jar in the class path of your project and run the samples in standalone mode using the DevelopmentRunner.

Unfortunately you cannot open the sample programs in VE because VE understands  fixed code patterns. These samples were created by hand thus do not follow the code pattern understood by the VE.

However, using the VE, you can quickly create the GUI layout of apps like Onlineshop and Teammembers.

I am attaching a visual class that has the GUI of Teammembers. I have not enclosed the gifs used by the class. You can take them from the Teammember sample app in the ULC release.

Thanks and regards,

Janak

Subject: [ULC-developer] ulc samples

Is there a document that explains how to load and run one of the samples that come with ulc-6.1.  I would like to load the onlineShop and teamMembers samples into the ulc-visual editor and see how applications were written.

Thanks,

Brian
