hey janak,
thx for response.
it's because of our iSeries(5250) history. in our old cobol
applications we use the right-ctrl key to commit a page.
therefore we are thinking about to use this key to commit(set the
defaultbutton to a form) a page.

Hi Marco,
ULC at present does not support KeyEvent.getKeyLocation(), API
which in
Swing allows to distinguish between right and left control key.
There is already an issue
http://www.canoo.com/jira/browse/UBA-6929 to
upgrade ULC API to Swing 1.4.
Moreover, ULC generates KeyTyped event only and that too for
printable keys.
Even swing does not generate KeyTyped for a ctrl key (for that
matter for
all action and modifier keys).
Even using registerKeyBoardAction is of no use because
ActionEvent does not
return key location. This is true of Swing too.
In what way do you plan to trap event for ctrl key?
Thanks and regards,
Janak
