Hi Ilja, The registry has a weak reference to an uploaded widget.
A widget will be garbage collected on the server side if: 1. It has no references 2. It does not belong to any container 3. If the top level container such as a frame or a dialog in which the widget is contained has been closed. Are you sure that you see in the profiler unreferenced widgets or widgets that do not belong to any container? Are you closing your top level windows or are all your widgets in a window that remains open all the time? Did you force running of gc? Thanks and regards, Janak -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Pavkovic, Ilja Sent: Monday, April 02, 2007 5:10 PM To: Ulc-Developer (E-Mail) Cc: Fuhrer, Kornelius; Beuck, Torsten Subject: [ULC-developer] Possible Memory Leakage in ULC 6.0.4? Dear all, currently we are monitoring our server system with Wily Introscope 6.0. We notified a possible memory leakage in ULC 6.04: The object count of com.ulcjava.base.server.Registry$a is climbing up steadily but never really comes down again. See the pink line on the attached image <<Registry$a.JPG>> Do you have any idea or can you provide a fix (but WITHOUT upgrading to 6.1.x)?
