Hi Rolf,

You have sent me Tomcat log. I needed ULC logs. Would it be possible for you
to send me the client and server side logs? You
can enable logging as described in Chapter 3 of ULC Essentials Guide of ULC
6.0.1.1.

What is your server side deployment environment? Are you deploying in a
clustered environment?

>From the server side exception it appears that there is some problem with
ULC's logger.

Are you using a custom logger by any chance?

Before you send me the client and server logs can you try one thing:

Remove the "log-level" init parameter for the servlet from the web.xml file
and see if the application servlet starts and the client can connect to the
ulc app.

Do let me know the result of the above experiment.

Thanks and regards,

Janak

PS: We recommend that you purchase ULC Premium Support for fast and
guaranteed response time.

Hi Janak,
The problem occurs always and it occurs with the applet as well as with the
jnlp.
You are right, the ULC version is 6.0.1.1.
I have included the logs and the web.xml.
Thanks.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen
