I am currently fixing UliPad and after I finish fixing it I will create a
patch for you and post it in a new issue report, but in the meantime please
fix the initial value of the long-line indicator column position from 80 to
79. I can't find that valeu myself, so please fix this yourself. It was
mentioned before by someone that this setting isn't correct. Limodou, this
really should be set to 79.
Preferences... > Document > Long-line indicator column position: 80 -> 79
I tested this. I set the long-line indicator column position to value 80
(which is the default value in UliPad) and then I wrote some code which
ended right before that vertical line. Guess what? I got the PEP8-style
message saying "E501 line too long (80 characters)". If you want this not
to happen, just change the long-line indicator column position value to 79;
and if you write code that ends right before that vertical line now with
this new long-line indicator column position value, then UliPad does not
complain. Limodou, please fix this.
