I tried to run the stand-alone version of Ulipad which is delivered in a
*.zip archive.
When I tried to preview a rest-formatted file on the left pane, nothing
showed up.
Can it be that some libraries (maybe lib/_html.pyd) are missing?

Are you using ".. include:" in that file? If yes then that is the
reason which I found out the other day and it is corrected in the svn
version.
