One thing about implementation of the side console is that it should
be compatible with having the folder brower open (not replace it).

Ideally, one should be able to drag tabs around (ie I would drag the
tag 'shell' and put it next to the folder browser. This is how it
works in most ids (Eclipse, IDEA, netbeans) but I can imagine this is
quite a lot of work so of course, the simple solution of having a
checkbox in the options would be great.

The 'dragging tabs' solution would be good for example to have two
open shells (e.g., Python and System) on the bottom drawer, or have
folder and class browser on the same vertical side of the screen.

But this sounds like a lot of coding :) so please forget it; I'm very
thankful for what you built already :D
