What a great idea. I have a lot of Irish ancestors. Every one of those families was from the old Province of Ulster; overall from quite a few different counties within the Province. So this all-Ulster list seems like a great idea to me, as long as we can get ‘experts’ from all of those Ulster counties to join this list, to offer assistance to all of us with our genealogy issues.
For decades now, my only online genealogy lists have been those sponsored by Rootsweb. However, with the supposedly ‘temporary’ closure of those lists having continued for so long now; I have ‘lost’ that connection to the genealogy world. Accordingly, I applaud this initiative as a replacement option. Congratulations Tammy and Teena and UlsterAncestry, on an excellent idea. For the moment I won’t post anything specific, as I might be almost the only person reading it back. ha ha.
