I have recently come across two almost identical records of marriage for John ROBINSON and Mary HARRISON on the same day, 26 Sept 1820. One record is in Seagoe church, Portadown, Armagh; the other is in Laghey, Killiman/Killyman parish, near Dungannon, Tyrone. Does anyone know if/why they might have had two ceremonies on the same day? Unsure of the geography and whether Portadown is a reasonable travelling distance from Laghey in 1820. Many thanks!
