Mary MOORE, wife, b ca 1815 Tyrone, d. 1907 Bentinck Twp., Grey County, Ontario Children: 1. William Robert CALDWELL , bap Dec 1836 2nd Presbyterian Church of Omagh, Co Tyrone. In 1858, he enlisted in the 100th Regiment of Foot, an Irish regiment in Ontario, and was posted to the island of Malta for 7 years as the Company boot-maker. He married Margaret BURKE, b. 1847 Cashel, Co. Tipperary in Ottawa, Ontario in 1867. He took over his father’s shoe-making business in Durham in 1876 and died in 1883. Seven children - daughters’ married names: Smith and Brown. 2. Mary Jane CALDWELL (Tyrone 1842 - Bentinck Twp 1923) Unmarried 3. Catherine A. CALDWELL (Toronto 1844 - d. Buffalo, NY 1918; married Lyman Morris Smith of Buffalo); five children. 4. Thomas C. CALDWELL (Ontario 1847 - d. Markdale, Ont. 1926) Unmarried 5. Sarah Emily CALDWELL (Ontario 1850 - d. 1939 Durham, Ont) Unmarried I’m also searching for McFADDENS of Co. Tyrone. Daniel McFADDEN married Mary MOORE’S sister, Margaret (Tyrone 1802-d. 1896 Glenelg, Grey Co. Ont) They emigrated to Grey Co. Ontario before Mary and Robert CALDWELL.
