Seeking information on two, possibly unrelated, BRACEGIRDLE families. Reverend George Bracegirdle of Donagheady who died in 1768 (I do have quite a bit about him as well as the great PRONI online records and other sources) but no information on his burial site. His wife, Hannah left a will in 1781 and possibly lived/owned a house in Strabane. They had children living with them, some may have died but others could have remarried or moved away. The will of course is only an index and property they owned is a mystery. Old burial sites in Strabane are mysterious, and whether he was buried at Donagheady is a puzzle.
The second is the extensive family of MATTHEW BRACEGIRDLE of Belfast, birthplace unknown, who died in 1853, married to Margaret Donaldson. Finding Matthew's birthplace would be equivalent to winning Lotto, as it could help in sorting out a DNA/ genealogical connection to this family. Was he born in Ireland or England?
