*Applications Developer/IT Manager*: Intelligent, creative IT professional needed in small government consulting firm. Solve client needs through the creation of web-based forms, databases, chat, GIS, and information tracking systems. Use open source base code combined custom PHP/MySQL development – or use packaged applications such as Arc/Info – to solve client needs. Serve as office IT manager, overseeing the rapid growth of our small firm and taking us to the cutting edge with the support and guidance of our outside IT firm. Interface with clients—listening to their needs and wowing them with IT-based solutions. The ideal candidate is broadly knowledgeable across the full technology stack, network to app layers, with an intuitive ability to learn new technologies, troubleshoot, and recommend/implement solutions.
