flickr rocks, and their upgraded account (huge upload quota) is dirt cheap.

from <http://www.flickr.com/forums/ideas/13899/?search=linux+upload>:

 fcrozat Pro User says:

There are already other programs able to do so on Linux :
-kflickr
-qflickr
-f-spot
and if you are an old flickr account (not using Yahoo! login), you can use curl to upload images too.

and

tuxmann says:

Can also check flickrfs - a virtual flickr filesystem for linux allowing you to upload/download/search photos.

I'm looking for an online photo sharing and printing website, like
Shutterfly, Snapfish, etc.--you know what I mean. Do any of these
work with Linux (e.g. Firefox browser + no additional software) AND
let you quickly select a bunch of photos to upload (instead of having
to select each one separately)?
