We use Linksys SR2024s at work, which are actually Cisco-co-branded (eg,
they have a big fat Cisco logo on them to go with the Linksys one). I do
not believe they have jumbo frame support, but they do have gbic
interconnects. I highly recommend them.

I _believe_ that Cisco gets away with charging the big bucks because of
support contracts and the management options their switches sometimes
provide.
