Hi, I'm really new to Linux and trying to get a VPN connection to the
university without much luck. I'm using Mandrake 2006. I've tried a variety
of programs, most of which won't compile.

The closest I've gotten is using the Cisco VPN client v4.6.02. It seens to 
install and initialize correctly, but when I run ./vpnclient connect umd it
prints stuff out but then seems to hang and I'm unable to access the
internet. until I CTRL-C. I've also tried a program called vpnc, but though
it seemingly connects I still lose access to the web. If anyone can give me
some guidance on this, or direct me to another client that might work, I'd
really appreciate it.
