Hello,

I bought a Linksys WRT54G v5 a few months ago (during 2006). Aparently, in the past that router has had a very good reputation but recently the manufacturers decided to cut Linux in favor of vxworks or something. The manufacturers also decided that despite memory price falling, it would be wise to reduce the amount of RAM down to 4MB. Additionaly, now the firmware is very unstable, sometimes PPPOE support is not very good (it is flakey at best). The WRT54G v5 are the only one Linksys routers for which open firmware (usually linux based) substitutes don't exist.

So, if you want a WRT54Gv5 Linksys router, this is your chance, make me an offer. No reasonable offer will be refused. Best offer will be selected. I still have boxes, cds, manuals, cables, everything. I paid $50 for it in February. If you want to trade, that is also fine by me.

Carlos
