I Really enjoyed my first hangout at UM-LUG, hope this is the correct
spelling.
I really enjoyed hangin out with you guys on Saturday at installfest and
wished Peter could stay longer, but I know he had to go. I ended up going
home and getting my craptop and bringing it back.
I installded DSL because it's a very old vaio with only 64MB RAM, 4GB hdd,
so the fellas suggested DSL was the best distro for me. At UM I installed it
as just command-line, no graphical.
....anyways I went home and messed around with installing it again and chose
the "lowram" option at the pre-boot (F3) screen and it booted crisp-clear
into fluxbox desktop, and then I "install to hard drive".
Result: RAM usage=19MB (31%), the system runs great!
