I'm fairly sure they are using Xdm (graphical login) so you need to use either .Xclients (needs to be chmod a+x) or .xsession instead of .xinitrc . Of course, `man xdm` says nothing useful :-( If that doesn't work, you could always just mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] and ask them :-) - Rob .
