Workshop and Employment Opportunity for UMD students

Searchles is forming a beta advisory panel and would like to invite
students from UMD to apply. The students are likely familiar with well
known internet sites like Google, Yahoo, MySpace, Digg and Del.icio.us.
Searchles marries many of the concepts that make these sites popular. The
30 member panel will meet once every quarter for a workshop serving
appetizers, sodas, and drinks. Periodically, we may also ask members to
take surveys or test new site features. We will write a reference letter
for any student who actively participates on the panel and we will also
use the panel as a way to identify new talent to fill internships, part-
time and full time positions in the company ranging from developers to
marketing as they become available. Undergraduate and graduate students no
matter their major are welcome to apply. Students who are interested in
joining the panel should submit the following information to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

1. Full name and email address.

2. Please specify if you are looking for employment - part-
time, full time, internships.

3. Screen name/User name they will create on Searchles (any
student interested in serving on the advisory panel should register at
Searchles)

4. Please provide a brief synopsis of your impressions of
Searchles (what you like, what we can improve, what you can't do but would
like to be able to do and what's confusing).

We also currently have two paid positions available: http://
www.searchles.com/misc/careers. Students interested in those positions
should also apply to serve on the advisory panel and in addition, submit
their full resume.

As a former UMD student (BS in EE, 1990) and now CEO Searchles I look
forward to continuing to build on our relationship with UMD.

Regards,

Elias Shams, CEO
