"I just sent $180 to UMLUG ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) via Paypal for the pizza
fund. It's in memory of my Dad, Martin Milgram, a generous guy who loved
computers, got a kick out of his students, loved pizza, and had the
first dialup connection on the block. That was 1970, when he taught
compiler theory at UMCP. At the time, the computer (a UNIVAC 1108)
filled what seemed like half a floor of the comp sci building, but he
told me that one day everybody would have their own computer at home. I
thought he was just pulling my leg. We miss him.

anyway ... bon Appetit!"

Martin Milgram passed away over the summer at the age of 75. He predicted
the rise of the free software movement, and Judah is glad he lived long
enough to see Linux make it big time.

Thanks to Judah for the donation. Our thoughts go out to him.
