More info, at popular request. I've uploaded a bunch of photos to http://www.tux.org/~milgram/temp/alr
including a full series of screen shots from the front-panel touchscreen. The last photo in the list shows the thing with the front panel doors on. Looks much better that way. This is an ALR Revolution Quad 6. RAM unknown. I can't log into it right now because I reconfigured my network since the last time I played with it. I don't have a monitor here to put on it. Has two independent power supplies, each fed by its own power cord, so you should have two outlets. If you only plug one in, it runs but beeps the power-supply-failure warning. Has two ethernet cards, each a combi unit (10-base-T and RJ-45) Has what looks like a SCSI card. The front door locks, and there's a second lock on the rear panel, probably to lock the box itself. Comes with a pair of keys for each lock (or at least, there are two pairs of keys that look like they could be the right ones - they're tied to the rear panel and I haven't taken them off to try them). This is a very cool box ... but I have too many toys and no upcoming projects to justify keeping it. And UMLUG needs pizza.
