I had heard back from Ed Kohlwey a while ago about doing a talk about Amanda, but for some reason didn't subscribe to the mailing list at that time. Anyway, now I'm subscribed, and I see that there are several meetings planned. Unfortunately, I'm leaving town today, so I can't make it to the meeting.
There are several directions I can go with Amanda, and I'm interested which seems most appealing: * Amanda for (potential) users, admins, and advocates; * Amanda internals and how to become an Amanda developer; or * The life of a full-time open-source developer. We are eager to get more folks onboard, working on Amanda, so for my own selfish reasons I'd prefer the second topic. I will be at Ben Tse's presentation on the 12th, barring other complications, and the last topic will probably come up there. Dustin -- Storage Software Engineer http://www.zmanda.com
