Yea, if you have programming experience, have a lot of time and know a
little about the kernel, i would def use gentoo. with it, you can do
anything. i have gentoo on my laptop, and i can just modify the kernel code
to do whatever i want. if you want it to just work and you dont really care
about what its doing, use ubuntu or fedora.
