Looks like it's served by OIT's webhosting service (webhosting.umd.edu).
I'm assuming somehow you guys are paying the bill every year.
There is also a server the group purchased in the datacenter
(cork.umd.edu), I think it was designed to hold local mirrors of software,
but I'm not sure if it is being used anymore.

in our traffic monitors as a top 20 high bandwidth user fairly often.
