Now that I have gained some insight into cairo, things have moved a bit now.
:-)
Accomplishments (in reverse chronological order ):
- Added pcap file support
- Added save as png support
- Implemented zoom in and zoom out (It just changes the scaling factor on
the time axis)
- Draws arrows between the source and the destination nodes
- Fixed the problem of timestamp clashes
- Added a small marker on the time axis corresponding to a packet
- Implemented scroll in the window
- Displays timestamps of the packets in the window
- Added new module chart for drawing classes
- Processed timestamp of packets and connected stop button in the panel
- Fixed namespace changes
- Sniff Packets from SniffContext
- Draw IPs of packets sniffed live (but only upto 4 nodes)
Priorities (in chronological order):
- Integrate it into the main capture interface of PM, so that its
perspective can be opened while sniffing
- Implement a sequence filter
- Be able to dynamically zoom in and zoom out well
