Hello everyone,
My name is Shrey Sharma from India.(shrey on
#irc).I am a sophomore of the department of Computer Science and Engineering
pursuing my B.tech degree at Indian Institute of Technology,Kharagpur.This
would be my first gsoc.
I have applied for the proposal of Packet Manipulator :new Audits.Ever since
I saw this project while browsing through gsoc I am glued only to it.The
idea of attacking the protocols by various techniques has instilled a new
excitement in me.(As I am newbie in hacking field).
Though I had an immense inclination towards hacking from the very
beginning.When years back I got connected to Nmap,I considered it to be the
best tool ever.Though Only after becoming the system administrator of my
computer science department in my college ,I realized how important is the
role of such auditing tools for effective management and in monitoring the
network(i.e. for white hat community).
I am sure that developing something which glues me for hours to work on it
is the best thing that can happen to me during this summer.
