I've read the messages. I will consider those tips.  

 But my main desire is to calculate the relatedness, not similarity.
 

 Now I'm using the following method in order to calculate (It seems fast 
enough):
 umls-similarity.pl -user=root -password=### --infile="word_pairs_large.txt"

 

 How can I do it similarly for calculating the relatedness?
