Well the good news is that I was able to recover our UMLS database, and so I have the web interface back up and running (with version 2015AB of the UMLS). I would still like to upgrade the umls, and so will plan to do that, but there isn't any need for the site to be down to do that. We'll continue running until the new version is installed.
http://maraca.d.umn.edu For those interested in such things, we upgraded from Ubuntu LTS 14.04 to 16.04. In the process we upgraded to perl 5.22 (from 5.18) and to mysql 5.7 (from 5.5). The jump in mysql seems to be a little hazardous, and the jump in perl required a lot of reinstallation of CPAN modules. I think everything is in order now though, although if you notice something out of the ordinary please do let us know.
