I just found that with ACPI enabled I have lots of trouble with IBM Thinkpads... First, my Thinkpad 600E systems fail to reboot correctly. Second, the network on my Thinkpad T22 does not work at all unless I specify "acpi=off" on the kernel command line. So although we will have ACPI support in the kernel for the next release, I am inclined to add "acpi=off" to the default kernel command line. I looks like Linux's ACPI support just isn't quite there yet. - Pat ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: The Robotic Monkeys at ThinkGeek For a limited time only, get FREE Ground shipping on all orders of $35 or more.
