How many people would be helped by us adding the "TRANSFORMS=xyz.MST" as
an optional parameter to the office scripts?
This way one could have one custom script that "wraps" around the
calling of ofc2003.bat, like so
mynormalofc2003.bat:
@echo off
call ofc2003.bat MST=myofficewithoutoutloook.MST
or another
myspecialofc2003.bat:
@echo off
call ofc2003.bat MST=myofficewithoutlook.MST
This way I could always pull down the latest ofc2003.bat script and know
that all service packs and patches etc are being used. At the moment I
actually have two configs that I had "branched off" the supplied
ofc2003.bat file and added the TRANSFORM=xyz.MST parameter. I should
have proposed this change back then, sorry. But now I am certainly
getting tired of updating my "customised" my_ofc2003.bat files to keep
them in sync with the latest one that unattended supplies, when I call
tools/update-scripts.
Would this change break anybody else' setup? Are there any other
parameters like that that one would like to "pass" via the command line?
Maybe PIDKEY ....? any others ?
Regards,
