Hello, I'm working with some other fellows on a Free/OpenSource project called unattended [1]. The project's focus is on automatically installing Microsoft Windows.
To let this system support ESX, we'd need a way to download a version of the Vmware tools package. Since ESX provides the new functionallity of mounting a virtual tools cd the sources seem not to be available online anymore. Are the sources included somewhere in the ESX modified sources package - which is of course downloadable? Under which terms and license are the tools distributed? Could we provide a mirror of the vmware network interface sources included with the ESX server? I don't have a support subscription and since I didn't find any other addresses on your website I could talk about our concerns, do I hope that you can help me, or at least forward this e-mail to the right counterparts.
